Tommy Hilfiger Reveals Collaboration With F1 Academy for Women’s Racing Championship

Tommy Hilfiger has formed a partnership with the F1 Academy, a championship racing series for women, aimed at fostering female talent within the sport. The Academy, which kicked off its first season last year, focuses on single-seater racing for women drivers.

Through this partnership, Tommy Hilfiger is sponsoring Spanish race car driver Nerea Martí. Martí will be racing in a car adorned with Tommy Hilfiger branding and wearing a custom racing suit by the label. Both the branded car and the racing suit were unveiled with Martí at the F1 Academy’s pre-season testing in Saudi Arabia the previous week.

In addition to sponsoring Martí, Tommy Hilfiger is designing the uniforms for the F1 Academy staff and will be outfitting one of the fifteen racing liveries for the 2024 season.

This collaboration is a continuation of Tommy Hilfiger’s longstanding engagement with F1, which began in 1991 when Hilfiger, a passionate fan of motorsports, first sponsored Team Lotus. Hilfiger’s involvement with F1 continued with a sponsorship of Ferrari in 1998, lasting four years, and in 2018, he named Lewis Hamilton as an ambassador for his brand.
