The Lamborghini: 60 Years of Artistry in Motion exhibition was featured at Art Basel Miami Beach 2023

Celebrating its 60th anniversary, Automobili Lamborghini is thrilled to unveil ‘Lamborghini: 60 Years of Artistry in Motion’. This unique exhibition showcases a range of artworks commissioned by Lamborghini dealerships across the Americas to mark the brand’s milestone anniversary. The art pieces, ranging from spray-painted canvases and custom sneakers to steel and bronze sculptures and a bespoke digital slot machine, pay homage to the legendary individuals and vehicles that have shaped automotive history.

The exclusive opening night was attended by top executives from the brand, including Automobili Lamborghini’s Chairman and CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, alongside Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, Federico Foschini; Design Director, Mitja Borkert; Chief Technical Officer, Rouven Mohr; and Automobili Lamborghini America CEO, Andrea Baldi.

Winkelmann expressed, “Our 60th anniversary presented a unique opportunity for our dealers to commission artworks that pay tribute to Lamborghini’s rich heritage. In the setting of Art Basel Miami Beach, design transcends into art. This is why we chose this event to reveal the Revuelto ‘Opera Unica’. This masterpiece celebrates the technical prowess and design aesthetics of the Revuelto, showcasing automotive brilliance from within.”

Marking 60 years since the inception of Automobili Lamborghini, the new Revuelto is a testament to performance and technological advancement, embodying Lamborghini’s DNA while pioneering the future of the V12. The Revuelto, a groundbreaking PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle), is the first of its kind and the most potent production Lamborghini ever built.

The exhibition features the Revuelto ‘Opera Unica’, a unique artwork conceptualized by Centro Stile and brought to life by Lamborghini’s Ad Personam team. Unveiled during the opening night, the ‘Opera Unica’ is inspired by the vibrant colors of the 60th-anniversary silhouette. Its hand-painted exterior transitions from Viola Pasifae to Nero Helene, with intricate brushstroke details in warm and cool hues. This meticulous process involved 76 hours of testing and 435 hours of execution. The asymmetrical interior design, achieved using colors, took an additional 220 hours to complete.

The exhibition also includes the Revuelto Experience gallery, designed to evoke an emotional response. The space encapsulates the electrifying essence of this futuristic vehicle through light, video, and the unmistakable roar of a V12 engine, a signature element of Lamborghini since its inception.
