Tod’s Group, a leading footwear and leather goods company, has named Matteo Tamburini as the new creative director for its flagship brand. Tamburini will be responsible for managing Tod’s men’s and women’s collections. His first project will be the autumn/winter 2024/25 women’s line, which will be unveiled at the upcoming Milan Fashion Week in February 2024.
Tamburini expressed his enthusiasm about joining a brand that resonates with his roots and past experiences. He stated, “I identify myself with the brand’s values and the continuous pursuit of high quality and style it has undertaken until now, and I look forward to contributing with my expertise.”
Tamburini brings a wealth of experience from the fashion industry, having studied at ISA Mengaroni and worked with renowned design teams at Rochas, Schiaparelli, and Emillio Pucci, with a focus on womenswear.
